Adam Dalton is a Providence-based multidisciplinary design director specializing in creative branding, identity systems, and compelling communication campaigns.
Bio
Adam’s career highlights include serving as Head of Design at Praytell, an award-winning creative communications agency in Brooklyn, and as Creative Director at Pivot Design in Chicago, where he collaborated with brand strategy and account teams to deliver standout campaigns for clients like Anheuser-Busch, Samsung, Sterling Bay, Footaction, and StubHub.
As an independent contractor, Adam has led major brand initiatives for GE HealthCare, CVS Health, and Xcimer Energy, partnering with global powerhouses like Interbrand New York and boutique agencies like Big Dreams and Officers Of. Earlier in his career, Adam directed impactful branding campaigns in the arts and entertainment space for Brooklyn Bowl, AM Only, Beatport, and #Feed Powered by Twitter at Learned Evolution. His work was instrumental in the agency’s acquisition by SFX Entertainment in 2015.
Adam’s work has earned recognition from Forbes, Complex, and The Next Web. His multidisciplinary expertise spans work with Lacoste, Equinox, Deleón Tequila, and other high-profile accounts at both traditional advertising agencies and non-traditional design studios.
Adam holds a BFA in Communication Design from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, MA. He currently resides in Providence, RI where he moonlights as a bike racer, husband and dog dad.

As Creative Director at Pivot Design, I led branding programs for Sterling Bay Life Sciences, Belay Diagnostics, and Molto Properties. Additionally, I played a key role in developing creative brand campaigns for Ultragenyx Pharmaceuticals, LivCor, and Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies. Managed senior-level talent while mentoring junior designers, animators and video talent.

Designed and developed brand identities for EMM Group, Lexington Brass, Giannuzzi Group LLP and Lavaan to name a few. Developed presentation materials and pitches for a variety of new business opportunities.

Designed corporate event identities for meetings, conferences and product launches for clients such as MasterCard, LG and Quintiles Transnational. Designed and installed visual and scenic elements for brands such as Samsung, Google and Plantronics at venues throughout the US. Designed and produced a wealth of print collateral such as booklets, promotional material and posters to support event content and programming. Provided creative support to in-house sales and production teams.
